Exhibition “L’Exception suisse”

In 2017, Kennedy Fine art had the honor of curatingL’Exception Suisse – l’art contemporain dans les collections privées romandes to mark the 120thanniversary of Societe Generale in Switzerland at their superb Geneva-based headquarters. This highly successful exhibition, showcasing contemporary Swiss art on loan from private French-Swiss collections, was extended due to popular demand.

The ensemble brought together a selection of artists who have marked the Swiss contemporary art scene, starting with John Armleder and Olivier Mosset, and followed by Fischli/Weiss, Francis Baudevin, Thomas Hirschhorn and Christian Robert-Tissot. Other young artists continue to show the dynamism of this national scene, among them Valentin Carron, Mai-The Perret, David Hominal, Philippe Decrauzaz, from French-speaking Switzerland, Ugo Rondinone and Olaf Breuning from German-speaking Switzerland.
